Designed around practical learning and real machine time, the course gives attendees the opportunity to develop their machine polishing and wet sanding knowledge using the RUPES system, products and techniques.
This course is suitable for both detailing professionals and enthusiasts, whether you're looking to improve existing skills or you're completely new to machine polishing.
Rather than spending the day sitting through presentations, the training combines essential theory with extensive hands-on experience. You'll work with test panels and vehicles, allowing you to put the techniques you learn into practice under expert guidance.

Lunch is provided, along with all tools, machines and materials required for the course.
All attendees will receive a Certificate of Completion following successful completion of their chosen training day.

Day 1: Introduction to Machine Polishing
- Introduction to paint defects and defect removal
- Introduction to RUPES and the RUPES polishing system
- Understanding Dual Action Machine Polishers
- In-depth overview of RUPES pads, compounds, polishes and techniques
- Familiarisation with Rotary, Dual Action and Gear Driven systems
- Hands-on experience with machines including the LHR15, LHR75 and iBrid
- Extensive test-panel polishing sessions
- Vehicle inspection and paint assessment techniques
- Identifying and minimising hazards during machine polishing
- Practical machine polishing on vehicles
- One-to-one guidance from your instructor

Day 2: Wet Sanding Basics
- Introduction to wet sanding
- Understanding different paint defects
- Understanding paint thickness and safe working practices
- Wet sanding equipment and product overview

- Practical application on test panels and/or vehicles
- Correcting and refining sanding marks
